Joe film directorial debut already has title!
The debut film as a director and producer Joe will be called "Don Jon's Addiction". The official announcement was made by Voltage Pictures that will produce long that Gordon-Levitt also will star alongside Scarlett Johansson. He will give life to a womanizing addict contemporary women who meets a woman (Scarlett Johansson) who will change his life forever.
Filming is scheduled for April 2012.
Joe confirms presence at WonderCon 2012
The WonderCon, so you do not know, is the second largest (the first is the Comic-Con) event about comics and film. People characterized their favorite hero roam around, to just show up, make a joke, or best of all, check the releases of comics and news about film adaptations. This year, on March 17, Joe will be there along with the writer and director Rian Johnson Looper to show a sneak peek of the film. Namely, we will soon have pictures of the movie!
Looper premiere on September 28.

Film Independent Spirit Awards
Happened today the Film Independent Spirit Awards, award offered annually to the best independent films and professionals involved therein. Joe attended the event presenting the award for "Best Screenplay" alongside actress Elizabeth Banks. Also, Will Reiser, writer and producer of 50/50 won the "Indie Spirit Award" for long. And the day came! A very special day for fans. Today, February 17th, our dear Joe full 31 years. All site staff wish much success to Joe and a life full of achievements and success. That in 2012 he can shine even in new projects that surround it, especially now in his career as a director. Congratulations Joe!
Joe directorial debut film with Scarlett Johansson
Joe just posted on his twitter and facebook the big news of her life, according to him: his directorial debut will happen in a movie that he wrote and Scarlett Johansson is escalated to one of the roles. The movie has no title yet, but the little that was discussed, says the film is a comedy which tells the story of a modern-day Don Juan who is in pursuit of becoming less selfish. Joe plays the protagonist and gradually we will find out the rest of the cast, apart from Scarlett. According to the website DeadLine , filming begin April 16.

Joe at Film Independent Spirit Awards
The Film Independent Spirit Awards this year promises plenty of power. Jessica Chastain and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be present at the ceremony.
The ceremony, held on the eve of the Oscar on the beach in Santa Monica, Calif., will also include appearances by Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Banks and Ewan McGregor, who will also present awards at the show.
With Seth Rogen as host, the Film Independent Spirit Awards will air on IFC, Feb. 25 (10:00 U.S.).
The film '50 / 50 'is nominated for best film at the awards.
"HitRECord at Sundance"
Added to the gallery some photos of "HitRECord At Sundance" held yesterday, March 26, at the Sundance Film Festival. In this event, the Joe showed some of the projects carried out by its employees in HitRECord and also spoke on the subject independence as the festival comes to independent films.

Rian Johnson talks about Looper
Director Rian Johnson gave an interview talking about his latest project, the film Looper. The complex plot 'Looper' involves a killer (Gordon-Levitt) who works for the mob. He is a Looper: people who are sent from the future to help this. When his next victim (Bruce Willis) is itself in the future, he hesitates and misses. Your own future, in turn, are trying to find and kill a young boy who is the key to their survival.
In the interview, the director commented on the role of Joe and how did it look like Bruce Willis, putting up prosthesis on the face every day. Check out what he said:
To bring the premise to life, Gordon-Levitt had to look (and act) like Bruce Willis and that meant spending three hours a day in the makeup chair. That was really scary because you are committed to that has to do and can not escape it. But the most important thing is the performance of Joe, he's really doing Bruce in style and daring, but he strikes a balance between obviously imitating Bruce and also build your own character.
The movie has no trailer and premiere date is on 28th September.
